AI Discovery Day

AI is everywhere, but few students have had the chance to use it for real. On Thursday, 8 October 2026, high school students can experience a free-to-attend AI Discovery Day at Tech Villa in Turin, where they’ll work with real data, use AI tools, build practical solutions and present their findings.

AI is everywhere in the news, but few students have used it for real.

Picture one of your students on a Thursday afternoon. An hour ago, she was in a math class. Now she is a Consumer Insights Analyst on Louis Vuitton’s marketing team, and she has a question to answer: do social media mentions actually predict sales across the Maison’s product lines?

If they do, she has two decisions to make. How many units should be ready for the next eight weeks? And which new products do the trends point toward?

She is 17. She has never written a line of Python. By the end of the afternoon, she will have done both.

This is an AI Discovery Day.

From the fair to the classroom; a question we hear repeatedly

At SRT Fairs, we meet students with the same question: what does “data and AI” actually mean as a job? We also meet counselors who want their students to try it before choosing it.

Many of those conversations have continued in the classroom, where students learn in practice what AI can do, while also understanding its environmental footprint and ethical implications.

What happens in the room; one arc, whatever the theme

Students step into a professional role and receive a concrete problem to solve. They explore a real dataset in a spreadsheet and compute the key metrics, with comprehension questions at each step. Then they use AI tools to take their analysis further, from writing their first lines of code to generating predictions.

The session ends with a deliverable they build themselves, such as a dashboard or a landing page, and a recommendation they present to the room.

Each student receives a personalized certificate of participation, which they can add to their university applications.

More importantly, they leave with a first-hand answer to the question they came with: is this work for me?

Why this matters for orientation

86% of employers expect AI to transform their business by 2030, and AI and big data are the fastest-growing skills. – World Economic Forum, Future of Jobs Report 2025

1 in 3 high school students say they have used AI in an educational setting. – Ipsos for the French Ministry of Education, 2024

That gap makes guidance harder. Students are asked to choose a path in fields they have only read about. AI will change most jobs, but it will not replace human judgment, creativity or curiosity.

Our aim is to give students AI as a tool, guided by their own intelligence,so each of them can see a clear place for themselves in the work ahead.

In your classroom

The next one can be at your school.

The Louis Vuitton case is one of several. Other editions place students in tennis sponsorship, World Cup predictions, finance, media and sustainability.

Sessions run in classrooms, on our campuses in Paris, Marseille, Milan, Madrid and Geneva, or fully online. Every facilitator team includes at least one woman, as part of our commitment to bringing more young women into STEM.

We will be happy to build an AI Discovery Day that adapts to your students.
